Reflecting on that appointment this morning made me realize that I wanted others to feel that good about themselves as well; to feel confident in their health and their options. It's also been a few months since I posted any education opportunities specifically for women, so I thought that this would be a great time to encourage all of my His Middle Name sisters to do that for themselves! I know, I know - Summer is the time for hitting the pool and setting your piggies free on the beach, but it's also that time of year when there tends to be a lull in all that frenzied activity the rest of the year holds for us. I also know too many women who are silently suffering from heavy periods, endometriosis, fibroid tumors and infertility.
This month, His Middle Name wants you to enjoy being a woman and encourage you to see your doctor if you have any health concerns. Because fibroids affect as many as 60% of all women, I've posted a couple of education initiatives below. If you live near LA or DC - you're in luck. The best part? They're FREE!
